The poet and artist Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven’s restless spirit returns from the realm of the dead to bid farewell and make peace with the world. A self-staged memorial requiem unfolds in which moments of despair, fulfilment and glamour as well as unrealised longings, frustrations and abysses are revisited and actualised in order to resurrect as an idol of a life dedicated to splendour.
